Para assistir ao vivo às TED Talks temos que nos tornar membros da TED, o que não é fácil. Além da taxa bem puxada ($ 6.000) temos que ser de algum modo “excepcionais”. Resta-nos a nós meros mortais e ainda por cima $ 6000 short assistir a posteriori às ditas conferências (FELIZMENTE!) disponibilizadas online.
O tema das TED2008 já foi definido, serão “As grandes questões”:

* What is our place in the Universe?
* What is Art?
* What is Love — and why are we so bad at it?
* What is Evil? — and how do we fight it?
* What are the most Gorgeous New Things being created in our world?
* Are we inadvertently creating New Forms of Life?
* What are today’s most significant Cultural Trends?
* What will the Future be like?
* What are the Problems I should be most worried about?
* Who will be the next President?
* What will be my Legacy?
Acho que não há outra coisa que me desse tanto gozo participar/assistir do que este evento. Férias em sítios paradisíacos, viagens, sei lá. I really get a kick out of listening to people and stuff like that. 🙂 “Graças a Deus” pela internet. 😉
